Weigh-In Wednesday: Choices

Week #1 is done in the Sisterhood’s Shrink into Summer Challenge! How did you do??

Ok, folks. I’m convince that there is some unwritten law that states, “April is not allowed to reach 60lbs lost.” I feel like I’ve been close to this for WEEKS, so when Flo showed up on Monday, the only thing I could think was, “Oh shit.” You all know how it goes, so I’m not going to whine about it. I've done enough of that this week. I’m also not going to say the 60lb milestone is mine next week because as soon as I do that, the sky will fall. Or something.

What I do want to say is that these past couple of weeks have been rough as far as my weight loss journey. And it sucks. Like a lot. I figure I have two choices here. I can either be hard on myself which is likely to make me do something stupid like eat a whole birthday cake (I’m quite certain I can manage that.), or I can use this annoyance to fuel my determination. So, you know what I’m going to do? Eat the cake. APRIL FOOL’S!! (I couldn’t help myself.) No, I’m going to use it to fuel my determination. It may not be next week or even the next, but feel sure that I will break that unwritten law mentioned above. I’m going to hit that milestone, and then I’m going to head on to my goal weight!! You just watch.

Have you had some stresses or aggravation with your weight loss? What will your choice be? I hope you join me and use them to help us get to our goals!

Last week’s weight: 146.6
This week’s weigh: 147.6

SUCK. That's all I have to say about this past week. For you and I both.

We will get this figured out and you will hit your milestone. Then we'll cruise on to our goal weight together.

Seriously!

Damn that pesky Aunt. Tell her to back the hell away! That will be next week. You have come so far and you have done such good, all keeping a positive attitude. Don't let this get you down- you WILL get to that 60lb mark, you will.

There is no law that states you can't and won't reach 60 lbs cause I know you will! You have come so far and your mind is in the right place. You WILL do this! HUGS. :)

You'll get there and probably sail past your goal next week. You can do it!

I am sorry that number is not going the way that you would like.

Just keep doing what you are doing. You will get there.

Wow! You have come a long way! You will get there!

I have hit my 50# milestone almost a year ago and I have lost almost nothing since. I have maintained though! I think that the last 0-20 pounds are so much harder to lose!

Hang in there! One step back this week, 3 steps forward next week!

Maybe being angry helps burn calories! No? Okay, just use your determination to push yourself through another tough workout by Jillian! I'm heading out to get my copy of her Shred workout this weekend!

aw hun you are so close, stay determined and don't give up! This is why it is soo much harder for women to lose weigh, men don't get a monthly bloat, let alone the emotional rollercoasters and food cravings that go with it!! Good luck for next weeks weigh in xx

WOW!! You have officially become my new inspiration!! I am re-starting my weightloss after months of trying and being unsuccessful. I lost 30 pounds after kid #2, and almost 40 after kid #3, but I've gained it all back and then some. I now have 50+ to go to reach my original goal, and I have wondered if it's even possible. Seeing that you are motivated to break a 60 lb milestone has been just what I needed to get off my butt and DO THIS THING!! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, and offering your encouragement. Keep on keepin' on!!
