You Capture: rustic
I have looked at these posts every week since Beth started her You Capture challenge. I think hard about each subject. You see, I'm a painter and am always looking for new subjects to paint. So looking at all of the great shots you all take each week is great for me!
This week, I've decided to participate. Keep in mind, I don't own a good digital camera, so I snatched my dad's (which I hate) for a couple of hours. I also didn't do any editing since I don't know the first thing about editing photos. But here we go:
This is probably one of my favorite possessions ever. I found it when I was helping my grandmother go through some of my great-grandmother's things, and she gave it to me. It's an old Kodak Brownie.
Thanks, Beth!! This was fun! Maybe I'll participate more often! :o)

Okay, you know I love this capture! I'm so glad you participated this week and I hope to see more of your captures in weeks to come!
Love ya!
Very clever! Shooting an old camera, love it!
fantastic - does it work?
Oh, memories. My grandma had one like this. Great capture.
I'm going to repeat Heather's sentiment. A picture of a camera. Very cool indeed.
Awesome shots!
I'm drooling ! I collect old camera's.
Great captures !
Wow, that is awesome!
I love those old Brownie cameras!
What a great capture! That old Kodak looks like its in pristine condition. I know this is scary but I remember using a camera like that. Picture taking was a lot harder back then. lol
Great capture! That Brownie looks like it's in great condition!
I love that camera. I've been trying to collect old cameras and movie reels and projectors to make a collection display over a family room media built in (just coping a PB idea!). And they are hard to find. SO enjoy that treasure.
i haven't seen a Brownie in a long time! what a treasure you have. and your photos are excellent. i think you should participate every week. next weeks it's 'letters' - good luck with that one :O)
i have my "rustic" shots posted, feel free to come on over to The Shadow of the Cross and visit for awhile :O)
Nice job! Thanks for joining!
Your next challenge is to show us your capture WITH the camera! Very nice. And, very nice of you to join us this week. I look forward to seeing you back in the future.
You did a great job! :)
Really nice, love the old camera!!
Love the camera. I like the oil lamp in the background...it just adds to the rusticness (I don't think that's really a word!).
Whoa...that is WAY cool! I love stuff like this and really like the way you included the case with the shot. Quite creative, my friend! Thanks for stopping over at our blog earlier and your funny train comment. They are way neat to photograph but a pain in the tushi when you're running late!! :) Lol!

OMG, awesome!! What a fabulous heirloom!!
Oh I can see why that's your favourite possession. It's wonderful!
Wow!!! What a treasure.....I love it when you can capture something with such meaning! Thanks for stopping by and GOOD for you for joining in!! :)
What a great "capture" for "rustic"! I love old cameras. Hadn't thought of that when I was walking around my house desperately looking for something to photograph. I'm sure this camera means a lot to you.
I too joined for the first time. I'm just getting around to seeing what everyone else did. Come on over if you' like. :)
