You Capture: Sweet
Okay, people. I'm going to be honest. Yesterday, I was almost down a dog. My cocker spaniel, Bayleigh, chewed up my brand new SD card. She is very lucky that I had already uploaded my pictures.
And now, I'm not going to use any of those shots. Beth's challenge this week was Sweet. And I had pictures of cookies and candy and my nephew. But I've been dying to get a picture of this baby morning dove that has been growing on my front porch. I watched his mama sit on the nest, and then I watched her feed him. But I never saw him. Until today.

He's so ugly right now, he's cute, huh? And sweet, right?
But the sweetest thing about this shot is that I took it using this:
And it's mine! No more using my dad's camera! Yeah, I'm excited!

Congrats on your new camera! Definitely a very sweeeeet moment :) Which Nikon is it? The dove is also awesome. I have been wanting to get some bird shots but I don't have nay on my porch and my current lens doesn't have enough zoom for me to get good shots of them up in trees ;)
